Mandarin Red (Citrus reticulata) – Essential Oil

Mandarins have their origin in China, native to the countries of South East Asia and the Philippines. Today  it is cultivated in Mediterranean or subtropical climates around the world. Red Mandarin essential oil is cold pressed from the peel of fully ripened, mature fruits. Red mandarin essential oil has a fresh, bright citrusy aroma. Calming and positive, red mandarin essential oil comforts your entire system of mind, body, and heart.

Mandarin is useful in skin care to address acne, scars, stretch marks, and can be used for congested skin. It may help to ease difficulty with breathing, can soothe muscle spasms, increases circulation of the lymph and works well as an immune booster. Red Mandarin is often found in natural skincare products for its skin softening and toning effects and in natural baby care.

Blends well with: Orange, Lemon, Lime, Bergamot, Rose Geranium, Palmarosa, Lemongrass, Vetiver, Cypress and Clary Sage.

Makes a great combination with Rose hip carrier oil for stretch marks and is a calming oil for diffusion at bedtime to combat restlessness with children.

How to use:

• Add a few drops into Rose hip carrier oil and massage into skin for stretch marks.
• Add a few drops into a diffuser at bedtime to combat restlessness with children.
• Add a few drops into a carrier oil and massage into skin to soothe muscle spasms, increases circulation of the lymph
