Lemon Peel, Pieces (Citrus limon) – Dried Herb, Organic

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Lemon Peel is known for its ability to promote qi circulation, resolve dampness, resolve phlegm, clears heat/clears toxicity and cool the liver.

With such an uplifting scent, Lemon lends itself well to formulas for uplifting the mood.

Lemon Peel has a slightly bitter and sour taste, which helps stimulate the gastric juices, making it a good addition to help digest food and provide vitamin C. 

How to use:

A pinch added to tea for a flavour boost. Combine 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Peel with 1/2 teaspoon of any single or tea blend. Pour one cup of boiling water on tea mix. Steep for 15 minutes, strain and enjoy.
