Grapeseed (Vitis vinifera) – Carrier Oil

This carrier oil is a favourite of many practitioners as a base oil as its light silken texture glides and absorbs well without greasy residue. Similar to Evening Primrose, it contains a high percentage of Linoleic Acid, but no Gamma-Linoleic acid.  As well, Grapeseed oil is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It has an astringent quality making it great for acne and oily skin.

Grapeseed oil is non-comedogenic, does not clog pores and is one of the lightest oils available making it ideal for the face and body application. This deep penetrating oil is one of the most common oils used for massage applications due to its tightening and toning qualities.

How to use: Add a few drops in the palms your hands and gently rub to massage the body.

Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Due to its mild green colour, may stain linens.
