Burdock, also known as Beggar’s Buttons, Thorny Burr, Happy Major, Niu Bang Zi, Go Bo and Gobo, was believed to be sacred to the “heavenly bear”, Thor, by the early Celts and Germanic peoples. Part of its Latin name, Arctium, is Greek for bear.

How to use:
1 teaspoon of Burdock Root to one cup of boiling water. Simmer for 15 minutes, strain and drink up to three cups a day.
For liver support combine Burdock with Dandelion Root or Milk Thistle.
For kidney support, combine with Nettle leaf or Hydrangea
For lymphatic support combine with Cleavers or Red Clover.
