An ingredient in the original Eau de Cologne from the 18th Century, this oil is most recognizable as the scent of Earl Grey tea. Citrusy and Fruity, this aromatic oil is produced by the cells inside the rind of bergamot orange fruit. This oil is a gentle ally in alleviating stress. Also, good for treating skin such as blemishes and scars as well as preventing infections due to its antimicrobial properties.
Blends well with: Geranium, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, Patchouli, and Ylang Ylang.
How to use:
- Create a clean and citrusy smelling home. Use to sanitize air or spray directly on surfaces for a clean scent.
- Add a few drops to a diffuser to for relaxation.
- When added to a carrier oil such as Jojoba and paired with Rosemary, Bergamot can be applied to the scalp to aid circulation and the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the scalp and hair
