Bacopa monnieri, more commonly known as Brahmi, Water Hyssop, Thyme-Leaved Gratiola and as the “Herb of Grace”, is a staple plant in Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine, native to India and Sri Lanka. It grows in wet, tropical environments as a low creeping succulent and can thrive underwater making it popular for aquarium use.
Bacopa has been used by Ayurvedic Medical Practitioners for centuries for a variety of purposes, and is a well-known nootropic herb that is used in aiding improved memory, reduction of anxiety and the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to support stress and as a digestive and liver cleanse.
How to use:
¼ – ½ teaspoon in powdered form, once or twice daily or use as directed by your health practitioner.
