Arnica – Infused Oil

This Arnica (Arnica montana) infused oil is made from Arnica flowers infused in Olive oil. Arnica is a flowering herb native to cold and mountainous regions in Eastern Europe and is sometimes called the “the mountain daisy” because it resembles common daisies.

For centuries, Arnica has been used as a homeopathic and topical treatment. This plant is said to be harmful, taken internally, when not in homeopathic form and when applied to open wounds. Arnica tends to be very warming and drying and is said to stimulate white blood cells, increase blood flow to areas of the body like muscles, tendons and connective tissue and to disperse trapped blood. Historically, Arnica was used topically to help relieve pain and/or inflammation in the treatment of sprains & bruises and soothing tendons.
