Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine this bitter works as a diuretic to support waste removal via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes; increase bile flow; and help stimulate the appetite.

Ingredients: Barberry, Burdock, Dandelion, Fennel, Turmeric, Licorice, Milk Thistle.

How to use: Add 1 teaspoon of Bitter Blend Tea to one cup of boiling water. Steep for 15-20 minutes, mix and enjoy.

Cautions & contraindications: Don't consume licorice if you have heart disease. Licorice can cause the body to store water and this can make congestive heart failure worse. Licorice can also increase the risk of irregular heart beat. Do not over-consume bitters if you have acid reflux.
