Avocado, Unrefined (Persea gratissima) – Carrier Oil

This unrefined carrier oil is known to be rich in Vitamin E and the essential fatty acid known as Oleic acid. Cold-pressed from the soft green flesh around the pit of the avocado, it is highly penetrating and emollient oil. Avocado is moisturizing for dry skin with both Vitamin A and E working together. It is also believed to have regenerating qualities for the skin and offers natural protection against the sun.

How to use:

As a facial oil moisturizer: Fill 2/3 of a 1-ounce bottle with Avocado oil. Pick another nourishing oil such as Coconut Oil and use it to fill up the last third of the bottle. Add three to four droplets of your favorite essential oil like lavender or rose. Twist on the cap and shake well.

Pour a little of your homemade oil on the palm of your hand, dab your fingers into the oil, and apply it to your face. You can also use the oil as a hand moisturizer.

Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.
